Roles and Responsibilities of a Driver

Safe Driving
- Drive vehicles safely and responsibly following traffic rules and regulations
- Ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and vehicle
Timely Transportation
- Pick up and drop off passengers or deliver goods on time
- Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays
Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform regular checks (fuel, oil, brakes, lights, tyres)
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition
Follow Traffic Laws
- Adhere to all traffic laws, signals, and road safety guidelines
- Avoid violations and penalties
Record Keeping
- Maintain log books for trips, fuel usage, and mileage
- Keep records of deliveries or passenger trips
Loading and Unloading (if required)
- Assist in loading and unloading goods carefully
- Ensure proper handling to avoid damage
Emergency Handling
- Handle breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies calmly
- Inform the concerned authority immediately
Customer/Staff Interaction
- Maintain polite and professional behavior with passengers or clients
- Provide assistance when required
Compliance with Company Policies
- Follow company rules and instructions
- Maintain confidentiality and discipline
License and Documents
