Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious heavy vehicle driver to operate a heavy-duty mini truck and transport goods efficiently across the local area. The ideal candidate holds a valid Heavy Vehicle Licence (HVL), prioritises road safety, and maintains vehicles in top condition to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles, adhering to traffic laws, speed limits, and company policies.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels; report any maintenance issues immediately.

• Load, unload, and secure cargo using proper techniques to prevent damage or accidents.

• Plan routes using GPS or maps to optimise fuel efficiency and avoid delays, while maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery records.

• Comply with all road safety regulations, including hours-of-service rules and weight limits.

• Maintain clean and organised vehicle interiors; assist in minor cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve issues on the road.

Requirements

• Valid heavy vehicle driving licence (HMV/LMV with endorsement) and clean driving record with no major violations in the past years.

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and road safety protocols (e.g., defensive driving).

• Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team. Basic literacy for reading manifests, maps, and completing paperwork; smartphone proficiency for GPS apps.

• It is a Full Time డ్రైవర్ job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
