Job Summary

Ruma Enterprise is seeking a reliable, professional, and responsible Personal Driver to drive the Director’s personal car safely and efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely transportation, maintaining the vehicle in good condition, and providing courteous and confidential service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Driving and Transportation

Drive the Director safely to business meetings, offices, appointments, and other destinations as required.

Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to the Director’s schedule.

Plan routes efficiently and remain updated on traffic and road conditions.

Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance

Keep the car clean, neat, and in excellent working condition.

Conduct routine checks of fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential components.

Ensure timely servicing, maintenance, and pollution certificate renewal, as applicable.

Report any vehicle defects, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.

Maintain records of fuel expenses, servicing, repairs, and vehicle-related documents.

Professional Conduct

Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a professional appearance.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Director’s personal and business matters.

Demonstrate politeness, patience, and a service-oriented attitude.

Follow the Director’s instructions and maintain flexibility regarding working hours when required.

Additional Duties

Assist with luggage, documents, and other items when required.

Be available for local travel and occasional outstation trips.

Ensure the vehicle is ready before scheduled journeys.

Perform other reasonable duties related to transportation as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.

Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience, preferably as a personal or executive driver.

Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic conditions.

Clean driving record and responsible driving habits.

Basic knowledge of car maintenance and troubleshooting.

Good communication skills and a polite, trustworthy personality.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexible hours.

Familiarity with GPS navigation applications such as Google Maps.

Working Conditions

Work Location: As required by the Director.

Working Hours: As per the Director’s schedule, including occasional extended hours or weekends when required.

Travel: Local travel and occasional outstation journeys, as required.
