Job Description – Cab Driver

Position: Cab Driver
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and reliable Cab Driver to provide safe and comfortable transportation for company employees, management, clients, and visitors. The driver should have good knowledge of Bengaluru routes, follow traffic rules, maintain the vehicle properly, and ensure timely pickup and drop-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company employees, management, clients, and visitors to required destinations.

• Pick up and drop off passengers on time as per the assigned schedule.

• Drive responsibly and follow all traffic rules and regulations.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-maintained vehicle.

• Check the vehicle regularly for fuel, tyre pressure, engine oil, coolant, brakes, and other basic maintenance requirements.

• Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, or maintenance requirements immediately.

• Maintain trip records, fuel records, and other vehicle-related documents.

• Use GPS and navigation applications to identify the best routes.

• Be familiar with Bengaluru and surrounding areas, including major industrial and commercial locations.

• Assist passengers with luggage or belongings when required.

• Maintain professional and polite behaviour with employees, clients, and visitors.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding company personnel and business-related travel.

• Ensure the vehicle is available and ready before scheduled trips.

• Coordinate with the office/admin team regarding daily travel requirements.

• Be available for occasional early-morning, late-evening, or outstation trips when required.

• No drinking or smoking during working hours.

Requirements

• Valid LMV/Transport Driving Licence as applicable.

• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience.

• Previous experience as a company driver, cab driver, or personal driver is preferred.

• Good knowledge of Bengaluru roads and surrounding areas.

• Knowledge of Google Maps and other navigation applications.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Good communication skills in Kannada. Knowledge of Hindi and English is preferred.

• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

• Punctual, disciplined, honest, and trustworthy.

• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.

• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

• No drinking and smoking during working hours.

Working Hours

• 6 days a week.

• Working hours as per company requirements.

• Flexibility for early-morning, late-evening, weekend, or outstation travel when required.
