1. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Safe Driving: Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, following all traffic rules and regulations.

2. Pick-up & Drop: Transport directors, management, employees, and guests as per the assigned schedule.

3. Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the vehicle in clean and good working condition, both internally and externally.

4. Vehicle Inspection: Regularly check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential components.

5. Document Management: Ensure the driving licence, vehicle registration (RC), insurance, PUC, and other required documents are valid and available.

6. Time Management: Report on time and ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off services.

7. Route Planning: Choose suitable routes and use GPS or navigation applications when required.

8. Fuel Management: Maintain fuel records, submit fuel bills, and report vehicle-related expenses.

9. Vehicle Servicing: Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance with the authorised service centre.

10. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding company matters, management discussions, and personal information.

11. Professional Behaviour: Maintain polite, respectful, and professional behaviour with directors, employees, clients, and visitors.

12. Record Keeping: Maintain daily records of vehicle usage, kilometres travelled, duty hours, fuel consumption, and assigned trips.

13. Emergency Handling: Inform the concerned authority immediately in case of an accident, breakdown, traffic issue, or other emergency.

14. Additional Duties: Perform other driving and administrative duties assigned by management.

2. Key Skills Required

• Valid driving licence and good driving skills.

• Knowledge of traffic rules and road safety.

• Familiarity with local routes and navigation apps.

• Punctuality, discipline, and time management.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Honesty, responsibility, and confidentiality.

• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

3. Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Minimum 10th pass preferred.

• Experience: 2–5 years of driving experience preferred.

• Licence: Valid driving licence for the assigned vehicle class.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with local roads and traffic conditions.

• Personal Qualities: Well-mannered, trustworthy, punctual, and professional.

• Other Requirements: Clean driving record and willingness to travel as required.

• Safe and accident-free driving.

• Punctual pick-up and drop-off services.

• Proper vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.

• Accurate fuel and trip records.

• Timely reporting of vehicle issues.

Note: The driver must follow company policies, traffic laws, and management instructions at all times.
