Job Summary
The Personal Driver cum Gunman to Director will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to the Director while ensuring personal security during travel, meetings, and other official or personal engagements. The role requires confidentiality, vigilance, discipline, and a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive and transport the Director to meetings, office locations, airports, events, and other destinations.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per the Director's schedule.
Provide personal security and remain alert to potential risks during travel and public engagements.
Maintain complete confidentiality regarding the Director's personal and business matters.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean, presentable, and properly maintained at all times.
Conduct regular checks on fuel, engine oil, tyre pressure, brakes, and overall vehicle condition.
Ensure all vehicle documents, insurance, registration certificate, and pollution certificate remain valid and updated.
Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and ensure safe travel.
Coordinate with office staff regarding travel schedules and appointments when required.
Assist with official errands, document deliveries, bank visits, and other assigned tasks.
Report any security concerns, vehicle issues, or maintenance requirements immediately.
Be available for extended hours, weekend duties, and outstation travel as and when required.
Maintain a professional appearance and disciplined conduct at all times.
Requirements:
Valid Driving License.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Personal Driver, Executive Driver, Security Driver, or Driver cum Gunman.
Good knowledge of local routes, highways, and traffic regulations.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Experience in personal security, VIP security, or ex-serviceman background preferred.
Ability to assess and respond appropriately to security risks.
Professional appearance, behavior, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel outstation and work flexible hours as required.
