We are hiring a Media Editor/ social media marketing executive in College Promotion Activities

Core Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

- Shoot & Edit Videos: Admission reels, campus tour videos, fest highlights, placement success stories, alumni testimonials

- Graphics & Posters: Event creatives, admission banners, social media carousels, department showcase posts

- Motion Graphics: Animated text for reels, lower thirds for interviews, logo intros for college videos

2. Social Media Management

- Regular Posting: Plan and post 3-4 times a week on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook

- Trending Formats: Turn college events into trending reel formats to increase reach

- Caption + Hashtag Strategy: Write copies that speak to students and parents, use local + college hashtags

3. Campaign Support

- Admission Drives: Create "Why choose us" videos, faculty intro clips, infrastructure showcases

- Event Promotion: Teaser videos, live coverage edits, after-movie for fests, seminars, sports meets

- PR & Announcements: Edit principal messages, achievement videos, ranking/award announcements

4. Branding & Documentation

- Brand Consistency: Keep colors, fonts, tone same across all college creatives

- Archive: Maintain a campus of photos, b-roll, edited videos for future campaigns

- Collaboration: Work with PR team, student clubs, and admission cell to get stories and footage

5. Cold calling: Support admission department team by calling the leads you'll get through social media marketing.

Skills That Matter Most

- Editing tools: Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva

- Shooting: Basic camera/phone videography + good lighting

- Storytelling: Know what hook gets 18-21 year olds to watch till the end

- Speed: Turn around event videos in 24-48 hours while the buzz is still there.
