Job Description: Social Media Executive – Podcast Growth
We are looking for a sharp, fast, and highly driven Social Media Executive to lead content publishing and growth for our podcast, Flirting with a Fish.
This is not a routine posting job. We are looking for someone who understands content, audience psychology, platform behavior, and growth. Your role will be to ensure our podcast reaches the right audience, builds strong engagement, and grows consistently across platforms.
You will work closely on creating, distributing, and optimizing podcast content across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Spotify, and other relevant platforms. From full-length episodes to high-performing reels and shorts, your responsibility will be to turn strong conversations into strong digital reach.
Key Responsibilities
Publish podcast episodes, reels, shorts, clips, and promotional content across all social media platforms
Manage content calendars and posting schedules with consistency and speed
Write strong captions, hooks, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and metadata for better discoverability
Understand platform-specific trends and adapt content strategy for each channel
Track performance of posts, reels, shorts, and episodes to improve reach, retention, and engagement
Work closely with editors, designers, and the core team to ensure timely and high-quality execution
Identify viral opportunities, relevant trends, and audience behavior patterns
Improve YouTube growth through thumbnails, titles, descriptions, playlists, SEO, and retention-focused publishing
Support podcast visibility through collaborations, distribution channels, and community engagement
Take ownership of audience growth, not just content posting
Skills Required
Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and short-form content ecosystems
Experience in content creation, distribution, and organic social media growth
Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, and platform-friendly communication
Good sense of storytelling, audience attention, and digital behavior
Ability to work under deadlines and maintain consistency
Strong coordination and execution skills with teams
Analytical mindset with the ability to study performance and improve strategy
Self-driven attitude with ownership and seriousness toward outcomes
Who Should Apply
Someone who does not see social media as “posting,” but as influence, positioning, and growth.
If you understand how content travels, why people stop scrolling, what makes people share, and how strong conversations can become cultural conversations—you will fit well here.
We value people who think deeply, execute fast, and care about building something meaningful.
