Social Media Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager who can manage social media presence from content planning to publishing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, graphic design, and short-form video editing.

You should be comfortable using AI tools, Canva, and CapCut to create engaging and high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain social media platforms on a regular basis.

- Create and manage a monthly/weekly content calendar.

- Plan content based on campaigns, trends, audience interests, and business goals.

- Create engaging image creatives, carousels, reels, stories, and short-form videos.

- Design social media posts and creatives using Canva.

- Edit Reels, Shorts, and other social media videos using CapCut or similar tools.

- Write/coordinate captions, hooks, CTAs, and other content requirements.

- Research current social media trends, formats, hashtags, and content ideas.

- Use AI tools for content ideation, scripting, image generation, video creation, research, and productivity.

- Coordinate with the team to understand upcoming campaigns, launches, webinars, and promotions.

- Ensure brand consistency across all social media content.

- Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar.

- Track basic social media performance and suggest improvements based on results.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.

- Strong knowledge of Canva for social media designs.

- Good CapCut/video editing skills.

- Knowledge of AI tools for content creation and social media management.

- Good understanding of Reels, Shorts, Stories, Carousels, and other social media formats.

- Creative thinking and strong visual sense.

- Good communication and copywriting skills.

- Ability to independently plan and execute content.

- Awareness of current social media trends.

- Ability to manage multiple content requirements and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AI image/video generation tools.

- Basic understanding of social media analytics and insights.

- Experience in content marketing or digital marketing.

- Basic knowledge of branding and visual identity.

- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, creator, coach, education brand, or service-based company.
