Social Media Manager – Music Industry

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, trend-savvy, and energetic Social Media Manager to build and manage our digital presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in music, artists, entertainment, and content creation and understand what makes content engaging and shareable.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute social media strategies for the company, artists, music releases, and events.

· Manage Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

· Create and plan engaging Reels, Stories, posts, carousels, captions, and promotional content.

· Develop and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar.

· Stay updated with the latest Instagram/Reels trends, music trends, hashtags, memes, and viral content formats.

· Coordinate with artists, photographers, videographers, and creative teams for content creation.

· Cover and manage social media content during music events, performances, shoots, and artist activities.

· Write creative captions, hooks, CTAs, and promotional copy.

· Monitor comments, DMs, and audience engagement.

· Track social media analytics and prepare performance reports.

· Research competitors, influencers, artists, and emerging trends in the music industry.

· Plan influencer collaborations and digital promotional campaigns.

· Generate innovative ideas to increase followers, reach, engagement, and brand visibility.

Required Skills

· 2–4 years of experience in Social Media Management / Digital Marketing / Content Marketing.

· Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

· Excellent knowledge of Reels and short-form video content.

· Good content writing and communication skills.

· Basic knowledge of Canva and video editing tools.

· Strong understanding of social media analytics and engagement metrics.

· Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced music and entertainment environment.

· Music/entertainment industry experience will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

· Passionate about music, artists, entertainment, and pop culture.

· Someone who actively follows social media trends and understands viral content.

· Creative, proactive, and comfortable working with artists and creative teams.

· Willing to attend events, shoots, and performances when required.
