About the Role:
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who truly understands what makes content go viral.
You’ll be responsible for optimizing, publishing, and amplifying Kannada/Telugu business
content across major social media platforms — ensuring maximum reach, engagement, and
visibility.
This is not a content creation or strategy role — the content will be provided to you.
Your job is to make it perform at its best online.
Key Responsibilities:
● Publish provided content (videos, reels, posts, etc.) across all major social media
platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, etc.)
● Optimize posts with relevant hashtags, keywords, and timing for maximum reach
● Track and analyze views, likes, shares, and comments, and make data-driven
improvements
● Engage with the audience through comments, DMs, and community management to
improve retention
● Experiment with trends, formats, and captions to drive virality
● Report weekly on performance metrics, insights, and growth
● Stay up-to-date with Kannada/Telugu regional trends, memes, and viral moments to
leverage them quickly
● What We’re Looking For
1+ year of hands-on experience managing social media pages (preferably regional or
business-related content)
● Proven understanding of what drives virality and engagement
● Knowledge of Kannada and/or Telugu could be appreciated, but not necessary.
● Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, Buffer, or similar will be
an added plus● Knowledge of tools or techniques to optimize virality (hashtags, SEO tools, analytics
dashboards, trend trackers, etc.) is a strong plus
● Quick execution mindset with attention to timing, trends, and audience psychology
● Passion for Indian business/startup/entrepreneurial content is a plus
