About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, creative, and organised Social Media Manager to own Carvaan's digital presence and internal content operations. This is not a posting-and-captioning role. You will be responsible for the full execution of our social media strategy, the creation of professional presentations and documents, and the smooth management of content across all platforms.

If you understand how to build a brand on social media, know how to put together a presentation that actually looks good, and take ownership without being chased, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

Social Media Management

• Plan, create, and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

• Build and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with ongoing campaigns and business goals.

• Write captions, scripts, and copy for posts, reels, and stories.

• Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement across all platforms and respond in a timely manner.

• Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and saves, and present weekly reports to the team.

• Stay updated on trends, platform algorithm changes, and competitor activity.

• Coordinate with the creative and production teams to ensure content is delivered on time.

Presentation and Document Creation

• Design and build professional PowerPoint / Canva presentations for client pitches, internal strategy meetings, and campaign proposals.

• Prepare detailed Google Sheets and Excel trackers for campaign data, lead records, content calendars, and performance reports.

• Create clean, well-structured Word documents and PDFs for proposals, SOPs, client decks, and internal communication.

• Format and organise all documents to a consistent, professional standard that represents the Carvaan brand accurately.

• Maintain and update existing templates and files as the business evolves.

Coordination and Operations

• Work closely with the Business Development and Creative teams to support pitches and client communications with the right material.

• Manage file organisation across shared drives so documents are always accessible and up to date.

• Support leadership with ad hoc presentations and reports as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• 1 to 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role.

• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Excel, and Google Sheets.

• Good eye for design and layout, even without a design tool background.

• Strong written communication in both English and Hindi.

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time.

• Someone who takes initiative and does not need to be told the same thing twice.

• Prior experience in a media, entertainment, or marketing agency is a plus.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Canva or Adobe tools.

• Understanding of Meta Business Suite and Instagram Insights.

• Experience with influencer or celebrity marketing content.

• Prior exposure to client-facing presentations or pitch decks.
