2. Key Responsibilities
A Strategy & Planning
· Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with institutional goals.
· Create annual and monthly content calendars (academic events, admissions campaigns, festivals, results, achievements).
· Position the institution as a thought leader in the education sector.
B Content Creation & Management
· Create and publish engaging content: posts, reels, shorts, student stories, faculty highlights, success stories, campus life, etc.
· Oversee videography, photography, and graphic design requirements.
· Ensure content follows brand guidelines, tone, and quality standards.
· Manage daily posting across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Google).
C Campaign Execution
· Lead digital campaigns for:
o Admissions & enrolment
o Events (Annual Day, Sports Day, Academic Fairs)
o Achievements & rankings
o Alumni engagement
· Run paid campaigns on Meta, Google, and YouTube to generate leads.
D Community Engagement
· Respond to comments, messages, and reviews professionally.
· Moderate parent/student queries across platforms.
· Build an authentic brand community through interactions.
E Analytics & Reporting
· Track growth metrics: followers, reach, impressions, engagement.
· Generate weekly and monthly performance dashboards.
· Recommend improvement strategies based on insights.
F Collaboration
· Coordinate with principals, academic coordinators, and event teams for content inputs.
· Work with design, photography, and external agencies when required.
· Liaise with admissions and management for campaign goals.
G Reputation & Compliance
· Monitor online reputation and respond to feedback tactfully.
· Ensure all content complies with child safety norms, privacy laws, and institutional standards.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of social media platforms and algorithms.
· Experience in digital marketing for schools/colleges (preferred).
· Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
· Ability to create reels and work with basic editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools).
· Understanding of analytics dashboards (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, YouTube Studio).
· Creative mindset with attention to detail.
· Crisis-handling and reputation management skills.
4. Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, Journalism, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in social media management.
· Experience in the education sector is an added advantage.
· Proven portfolio of successful campaigns.
