Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and football-savvy Social Media Handler to manage our day-to-day social media activities. This is an ideal role for a fresher who understands how sports fans consume content online and can spot opportunities to join conversations around football, the FIFA World Cup, and sports technology.
Responsibilities
Manage and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and other platforms.
Monitor FIFA World Cup matches, football news, trends, and fan discussions.
Identify real-time content opportunities during matches and major football events.
Draft captions, post descriptions, tweets, and community updates.
Coordinate with designers and video editors to publish content on time.
Track post performance and prepare simple engagement reports.
Respond to comments and messages where required.
Maintain a content calendar and help plan weekly content.
Research football stories, player performance topics, and sports technology trends.
Requirements
Strong interest in football and regular awareness of major leagues, tournaments, and players.
Good understanding of social media platforms and current content trends.
Strong written English skills.
Ability to work during major football events when required.
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or basic content creation tools is a plus.
Understanding of memes, fan culture, and sports conversations online is a plus.
Basic knowledge of analytics and social media metrics is preferred.

Qualification
