The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the NGO’s digital presence to increase visibility, engagement, and support for its social initiatives. The role involves managing social media platforms, creating and maintaining the organization’s website, developing digital campaigns, and supporting project research and outreach activities.
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with the NGO’s mission, projects, and fundraising goals.
Plan and execute online campaigns for awareness, events, fundraising, and advocacy initiatives.
Monitor digital performance and prepare basic reports on reach, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Manage and handle all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Create engaging content including posts, stories, reels, and campaign creatives.
Respond to messages, comments, and queries in a timely and professional manner.
Plan content calendars and ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Design, create, update, and maintain the NGO’s website.
Ensure website content is accurate, user-friendly, and regularly updated with projects, reports, and news.
Coordinate with internal teams for website content and ensure basic SEO best practices.
Edit photos and videos for social media, website, campaigns, and reports.
Create visual content such as posters, banners, short videos, and reels for digital outreach.
Maintain a digital library of photos and videos from field activities and events.
Conduct research on NGO projects, government schemes, CSR opportunities, donors, and funding trends.
Assist in preparing digital content, presentations, and marketing material for ongoing and new projects.
Support proposal visibility, project documentation, and impact storytelling through digital platforms.
Ensure consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all digital platforms.
Coordinate with program and field teams to capture stories, case studies, and success stories.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media handling
Experience in website creation, designing, updating, and management
Proficiency in photo and video editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
Ability to create engaging content for social causes and NGO campaigns
Research skills related to NGO projects, CSR, and social development programs
Basic understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital performance tracking
Creative thinking with strong communication and storytelling skills
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, IT, Design, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications in digital marketing or design will be an added advantage.
1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with an NGO, social enterprise, or purpose-driven organization.
Freshers with strong skills and relevant certifications in digital marketing may also be considered.
Rs.10,000 - 15,000 per month for Freshers with Relevant certifications in digital marketing.
Rs.15,000 - 20,000 per month for Experienced Candidates having the above mentioned skills & knowledge.
