Timely Delivery
Deliver products, documents, or materials to customers as per assigned routes and schedules.
Ensure on-time and accurate delivery with minimal delays.
Product Handling
Handle goods carefully to prevent damage, loss, or tampering.
Verify items against delivery challans/invoices before dispatch and at delivery point.
Customer Interaction
Maintain polite, professional, and respectful behavior with customers at all times.
Obtain customer signatures, acknowledgements, or proof of delivery (POD).
Cash / Payment Handling (if applicable)
Collect cash, cheques, or digital payments as per company instructions.
Deposit collected amounts with accounts/office on the same day or as instructed.
Documentation
Maintain delivery records, logs, and reports accurately.
Return undelivered items with proper reasons and documentation.
Vehicle & Safety Responsibility
Maintain assigned vehicle in good condition and report any issues immediately.
Follow traffic rules, safety norms, and wear safety gear (helmet, uniform, ID card).
Route Planning
Plan efficient routes to save time and fuel.
Follow delivery priorities as assigned by the supervisor.
Company Property Care
Safeguard company products, documents, equipment, and vehicle.
Report any loss, damage, or theft immediately to management.
Compliance & Discipline
Adhere to company policies, working hours, attendance, and code of conduct.
Avoid misuse of company vehicle or materials for personal purposes.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and supervisors for smooth operations.
Inform the office in case of delivery issues, delays, or customer complaints.
Additional Duties
Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management related to delivery operations.
