Job SummaryBigBasket is looking for reliable and hardworking Delivery Executives to join the delivery operations team. The role involves delivering groceries and household essentials to customers on time, ensuring order accuracy, and providing excellent service.Key ResponsibilitiesPick up customer orders from the assigned BigBasket store or warehouse.Deliver orders safely and on time to customer addresses.Verify order details before delivery (item list, quantity, payment type).Handle cash/UPI/Card payments when required (for COD orders).Ensure proper handling of products, especially fragile or perishable items.Maintain communication with the hub supervisor for route planning and issues.Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines at all times.Maintain delivery records and submit proof of delivery (POD).Provide friendly and professional customer service.Skills & RequirementsMust have a two-wheeler (bike/scooter) with a valid driving license.Valid vehicle documents: RC book, insurance, PUC.Android smartphone for delivery app use.Basic understanding of routes and Google Maps navigation.Good communication and customer-handling skills.Ability to lift and carry grocery bags/boxes.Punctuality and reliability.Work ScheduleFull-time / Part-time shifts available.Morning, afternoon, and evening slots depending on location.Weekends and festival days may require mandatory shifts.Salary & BenefitsFixed monthly salary + incentives based on the number of deliveries.Fuel allowance (varies by city and distance).Attendance bonus, performance incentives, surge incentives.Insurance benefits (as per company policy).
