Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS Executive to manage daily operational data, prepare MIS reports, coordinate with customers and transport teams, and support smooth logistics and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to logistics and transportation operations.

• Collect, verify, and consolidate data from customers, transport teams, vendors, branches, and internal departments.

• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, routes, trips, pickups, and deliveries.

• Prepare reports on pickup and delivery performance, on-time delivery, vehicle utilization, trip performance, fuel consumption, and operational costs.

• Maintain dashboards and operational trackers using MS Excel.

• Identify data discrepancies and ensure timely correction.

• Provide accurate and timely reports to management for decision-making.

Customer Pickup & Delivery Coordination

• Handle customer queries related to pickup and delivery status, delays, rescheduling, and shipment updates.

• Receive and record customer requests for new pickups and coordinate with the operations/transport team for execution.

• Follow up with drivers and transporters regarding pending pickups and deliveries.

• Provide customers with timely and accurate updates regarding shipment and delivery status.

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and pickup/delivery-related issues.

• Maintain records of customer queries, complaints, and resolutions.

• Escalate unresolved or critical customer issues to the concerned manager.

• Ensure timely closure of customer pickup and delivery queries.

Operations Coordination

• Track vehicle movement, trip status, delivery status, and pending shipments.

• Monitor delayed, pending, and completed pickups/deliveries and highlight exceptions.

• Coordinate with operations, transporters, drivers, warehouse teams, and customers.

• Reconcile operational data and ensure all pickup and delivery records are updated correctly.

• Perform other MIS, customer coordination, and operational activities assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, filters, and data cleaning.

• Good understanding of logistics, transportation, fleet, or supply-chain operations.

• Good customer handling and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple customer queries and operational tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Google Sheets, ERP/TMS software will be an added advantage.

Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.

• Candidates with a degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration will be preferred.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in MIS, logistics, transportation, fleet management, customer coordination, or operations reporting.

• Freshers with strong Excel and communication skills may also be considered.

• Accuracy and timely submission of MIS reports.

• Timely response and resolution of customer pickup/delivery queries.

• Pickup and delivery tracking accuracy.

• Timely escalation of delayed or pending shipments.

• Data accuracy and reconciliation.

• Customer query/complaint closure time.

• Quality and accuracy of management reports.

Salary: ₹[Salary Range] per month, depending on experience and skills.
