Job Description – Purchase Executive

Company: Yuvaraju Agro Impex
Department: Purchase & Procurement
Location: Kanchipuram / Chennai
Reports To: HR / Manager

Responsibilities

Source agro products and packaging materials from reliable suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best rates.
Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs).
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain supplier records and develop new vendors.
Monitor market prices and prepare cost comparison reports.
Coordinate with the warehouse, QC, and export teams for procurement requirements.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards.
Maintain procurement documents and reports.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and procurement processes.
Experience in agro products or export procurement is preferred.
