Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Executive to handle the day-to-day IT operations and provide basic technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of IT systems and the ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, including installing and configuring operating systems, software, and peripherals.
System Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, backups, and system checks.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including printers, routers, and other devices.
Report any recurring issues or system outages to the IT Manager.
User Support and Training:
Assist employees with login credentials, password resets, and access to systems.
Provide guidance to end-users on best practices for using IT resources.
Document common troubleshooting steps and create user manuals for internal processes.
Asset Management:
Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and warranties.
Coordinate repairs or replacements for damaged or faulty equipment.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure systems are secure by enforcing company policies, such as user access controls and antivirus protection.
