Student Counselor – Overseas Education

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Student Counselor to guide students through the process of studying abroad. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for counseling, and the ability to help students choose the right course, university, and country based on their academic profile and career goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding higher education opportunities abroad.

• Understand students' academic background, career aspirations, and financial situation.

• Recommend suitable universities, courses, and countries.

• Explain admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, and visa procedures.

• Assist students throughout the admission process, including application submission and documentation.

• Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into enrollments.

• Coordinate with universities and internal teams to ensure timely application processing.

• Maintain accurate student records in the CRM.

Meet monthly counseling and admission targets.

• Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and promotional events.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong counseling and sales abilities.

• Ability to build trust and maintain relationships with students and parents.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, CRM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA is an added advantage).

• 1–3 years of experience in overseas education counseling or academic counseling preferred.

• Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.

Preferred Knowledge

• Knowledge of study destinations such as Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Latvia, Lithuania, and other European countries.

• Understanding of admission processes, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
