We are looking for a highly analytical Business Analyst with strong technical skills in Node.js, MySQL, and SQL, along with expertise in creating clear and structured documentation. The candidate will act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are captured, analyzed, and translated into actionable requirements supported by well-prepared documentation.
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Develop BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), SRS (System Requirement Specifications), User Stories, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to define project scope and deliverables.
Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
Work with MySQL for data modeling, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Understand and document Node.js backend workflows, including APIs, integrations, and system logic.
Prepare use cases, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios to support QA and UAT.
Maintain updated documentation throughout the project lifecycle for traceability and compliance.
Conduct gap analysis and propose process/system improvements.
Provide project status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong experience in writing SQL queries (joins, stored procedures, performance tuning).
Hands-on knowledge of MySQL databases.
Familiarity with Node.js backend concepts, APIs, and integration workflows.
Proven ability to create professional documentation (BRDs, FRDs, SRS, workflow diagrams, user manuals).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience in documenting APIs (Swagger, Postman, or similar tools).
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Background in financial services, e-commerce, or SaaS industry.
