Role Summary:
Responsible for the effective monitoring and operation of Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Public Address (PA) systems to ensure safe, secure, and energy-efficient facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
BMS Operations: Monitor and operate HVAC, lighting, power, and water systems via BMS. Report anomalies, respond to alarms, and support maintenance coordination.
CCTV Surveillance: Monitor live feeds, ensure camera functionality, report security incidents, and maintain video archives per SOPs.
Fire Alarm Monitoring: Oversee fire alarm panels, respond to alarms and faults, support evacuation protocols, and coordinate emergency responses.
PA System Management: Operate PA systems for daily and emergency announcements. Ensure functionality through regular testing.
General Duties:
Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
Support preventive maintenance and system testing
Participate in emergency drills and compliance audits
Liaise with vendors and contractors for system support
Reporting and MIS
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
2–4 years’ experience in BMS/ELV Operations
Familiar with safety protocols, fire codes, and system schematics
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
Good communication and reporting skills
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, control software)
Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts
Working Conditions:
Control room environment
Shift-based (24/7 operations possible)
Emergency call-ins as needed
