Job Summary
The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, managing the sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role involves supervising daily sales activities, analyzing sales performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Target Achievement
Assist the Sales Manager in planning and executing sales strategies.
Support the team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor daily sales activities and provide guidance to sales executives.
Identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
Team Management
Supervise and motivate the sales team to improve productivity.
Assist in training and onboarding new sales staff.
Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and goals.
Provide feedback and coaching to improve team performance.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and improvement areas.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Market Development
Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Assist in planning promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in sales (typically 2–5 years).
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
