The Tandoor Commis I will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic tandoor dishes, including breads, kebabs, and Indian curries, while maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, quality, and consistency.
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor items such as kebabs, naan, roti, kulcha, and other Indian breads.
Assist in marinating and seasoning meats, seafood, and vegetables according to established recipes.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tandoor ovens and kitchen equipment.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Adhere to hygiene and safety standards (HACCP/ISO/FSSAI guidelines).
Monitor stock levels of raw materials and report shortages to supervisors.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service.
Follow the instructions of senior chefs and contribute to menu planning if required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tandoor section.
