The Chinese Commi II will assist in the preparation and cooking of Chinese cuisine, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. The role involves supporting senior chefs, following recipes and instructions, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Chinese dishes as directed by senior chefs.
Ensure food is prepared according to recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
Support in mise en place (cutting vegetables, sauces, marinades, etc.) before service.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Reduce wastage through proper portioning and handling of food items.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
