Job Description: Indian & Continental Chef

An Indian & Continental Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes from both Indian and Continental cuisines, ensuring excellent taste, consistency, and presentation while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including curries, breads, rice, and snacks

• Prepare Continental dishes such as pastas, grills, steaks, soups, salads, and sauces

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control

• Plan and assist in menu development for Indian and Continental sections

• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen

• Manage food preparation, storage, and inventory

• Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth kitchen operations

• Ensure timely preparation and service of food

• Minimize food wastage and control costs

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian & Continental Chef

• Strong knowledge of Indian spices and Continental cooking techniques

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Creativity and attention to detail

• Good teamwork and communication skills
