We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef to manage and operate the tandoor section of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of traditional tandoor cooking techniques and be able to prepare high-quality breads and tandoor dishes consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook tandoor items such as naan, roti, kulcha, tandoori chicken, kebabs, and paneer
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely
Prepare marinades using traditional spices and methods
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor area
Follow food safety and kitchen safety guidelines
Coordinate with kitchen staff during service
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Tandoor Chef or similar role
Knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and Indian spices
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Good time management and teamwork skills
