Position: Chef de Partie – Chinese Cuisine

Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹30,000 per month
We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie (Chinese Cuisine) to manage the Chinese section of our restaurant kitchen. The CDP will be responsible for preparing authentic Chinese dishes with consistency, creativity, and high standards of hygiene, while supervising junior chefs and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes (starters, main courses, soups, noodles, fried rice, sauces, dim sums, etc.).
Maintain authentic taste, presentation, and portion control in all dishes.
Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen helpers in the Chinese section.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders during service.
Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
Monitor stock levels for Chinese ingredients, sauces, and spices; coordinate with stores for requisitions.
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
Properly use and maintain woks, steamers, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef/Head Chef for smooth operations across sections.
Handle guest special requests (customized spice levels, dietary needs) professionally.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Chinese CDP or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in Chinese cuisine (Sichuan, Cantonese, Indo-Chinese dishes).
Knowledge of sauces, wok cooking, stir-fry techniques, and dumpling preparation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership and training ability for junior chefs.
Good communication and team coordination skills.
Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and portion control.
