Chef de Partie (CDP) – Food Whisperer
Role Overview
As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will manage a specific section of the kitchen and ensure the preparation of high-quality dishes in line with Food Whisperer's culinary standards. You will play a key role in driving consistency, innovation, and excellence across daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, vegetable) efficiently.
· Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to company specifications and standards.
· Supervise and support junior chefs and commis chefs within your section.
· Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served in line with food safety standards (HACCP, FSSAI).
· Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
· Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on new menu ideas and execution.
· Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance standards at all times.
· Use modern kitchen technology including combi ovens, Vario Cooking Centers, and kitchen management systems.
· Follow sustainable sourcing and food waste reduction practices as per Food Whisperer's ethos.
Qualifications
· Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related discipline.
· At least 5-10 years of experience as CDP or Demi CDP in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen.
· Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
· Ability to lead a small team and manage workflow under pressure.
· Familiarity with kitchen technology and app-based operational tools is a plus.
