Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced South Asian Cuisine Cook, with strong expertise in Biryani preparation, to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic, flavorful dishes while maintaining high standards of hygiene and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic South Asian dishes, with a primary focus on Chicken, Mutton, and Veg Biryani
Follow traditional recipes while ensuring consistent taste, aroma, and quality
Manage daily food preparation, including marination, rice cooking, and dum process
Ensure proper food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
Handle raw materials efficiently and minimize food wastage
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness of cooking equipment, utensils, and work area
Assist in menu planning and portion control when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Biryani Cook or South Asian Cuisine Cook
Good knowledge of Indian spices, masalas, and cooking techniques
Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Punctual, disciplined, and team-oriented attitude
Preferred
Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering services
Ability to cook for bulk orders and events
