We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer / Technical Author with experience in automotive technical documentation and content creation. The candidate will be responsible for developing installation manuals, user manuals, service guides, and technical documentation for automotive products and systems.

The role includes creating and editing technical illustrations such as wire routing diagrams, component layouts, and assembly illustrations to ensure procedures are clearly understandable for technicians and end users. Candidates should have a good understanding of automobile parts, assemblies, manufacturing processes, and service procedures.

The ideal candidate must be able to interpret technical drawings and engineering data accurately while maintaining documentation standards, consistency, and clarity. Coordination with engineering and product teams will be required to gather technical information and update existing manuals as needed.

Required Skills:

• Experience in automotive technical authoring/documentation

• Strong understanding of automotive assemblies and processes

• Knowledge of technical illustration and documentation tools

• Good written communication and attention to detail

Preferred Software Knowledge:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe FrameMaker, CorelDRAW, basic CAD knowledge preferred.

Qualification:
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or related technical field.
