We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Assistant Editor to support our editorial team in content development, editing, and publishing. The ideal candidate has strong writing and proofreading skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior editors in reviewing, editing, and proofreading content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style.
Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure content credibility.
Coordinate with writers, designers, and other team members to meet deadlines.
Help manage editorial calendars and track content progress.
Prepare content for publication (print, web, or digital platforms).
Maintain consistency with brand voice and editorial guidelines.
Provide feedback to writers to improve content quality.
Assist in content planning and brainstorming sessions.
Upload and format content in CMS platforms (if applicable).
