MIS & Localization Content Executive – Fresher

Department: Media Localization & Language Technology

Experience: Fresher / 0–1 Year

About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented, tech-savvy and content-oriented freshers who are interested in building a career in MIS, content creation/editing, media localization and language technology.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with Excel, textual content, documents, digital content and technology and are interested in learning how content is prepared and processed for multilingual translation, voice-over, subtitling, DTP and eLearning projects.

Full training will be provided to selected candidates on localization workflows and industry-standard CAT/localization tools.

Candidates do not need prior experience in localization. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Data Management

• Work extensively on Advanced Excel for content management, tracking and reporting.

• Sort, filter, clean and organize large volumes of textual and project-related data.

• Maintain project trackers, content sheets, production MIS and databases.

• Prepare reports and maintain accurate project records.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality checks.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple project files.

Content Preparation & Editing

• Prepare and format English and multilingual documents for localization.

• Organize textual content received from clients and prepare it for translation and other localization workflows.

• Perform text extraction, copy-paste, segmentation, formatting and content structuring.

• Create and format scripts for:

o Translation

o Voice-over / dubbing

o Subtitling

o DTP

o eLearning localization

• Review and edit content for grammar, formatting, consistency and completeness.

• Compare localized content with the English source and identify missing, incorrect or inconsistent content.

• Perform quality checks on documents, scripts, digital content and eLearning courses.

Localization & Language Technology

The selected candidate will be trained to work with localization and CAT tools such as:

• SDL Trados Studio

• memoQ

• Memsource / Phrase

• Smartcat

• Other CAT, translation management and localization platforms

The candidate will learn how to prepare content for localization, manage multilingual files, work with translation memories and terminology databases, and support localization production workflows.

Coordination & Production Support

• Coordinate with Project Managers, translators, linguists, voice-over artists, DTP teams and other production teams.

• Follow project-specific workflows, naming conventions and quality standards.

• Identify content issues and escalate them to the concerned Project Manager.

• Support the team in managing high-volume multilingual projects.

• Learn and adopt new AI-based content and language technologies as required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Good typing and computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work with large volumes of text and data.

• Good understanding of document formatting and content editing.

• Good analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.

• Comfortable working with repetitive, accuracy-sensitive tasks.

• Interest in content creation, editing, digital media and technology.

Advanced Excel Skills – Preferred

Candidates with knowledge of the following will be preferred:

• VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP

• IF / nested IF

• SUMIF / COUNTIF

• Text functions

• Sorting and filtering

• Conditional formatting

• Data validation

• Pivot Tables

• Basic data cleaning and reconciliation

Training Provided

No prior localization experience is required.
