Content Editor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Content Editor to join our team. The role involves proofreading, editing, and formatting content in Word documents according to the given style and structure, as well as creating professional presentations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all content deliverables. Excellent knowledge of English and computer, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidates preferred and immediate joiners required.

Responsibilities

·       Proofread, edit, and format content in Microsoft Word as per the prescribed templates and guidelines.

·       Ensure correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and UK English usage in all documents.

·       Maintain consistency of headings, fonts, numbering, tables, and overall structure.

·       Format multiple-choice questions, training material, and other academic/technical documents.

·       Create, edit, and enhance PowerPoint presentations in line with organisational standards.

·       Collaborate with content writers, subject matter experts, and trainers to finalise error-free deliverables.

·       Maintain version control and organise documents for easy retrieval and reference.

·       Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professional presentation of all content.

Requirements

·       Proven experience as a content editor, proofreader, or similar role.

·       Strong command of UK English grammar, spelling, and formatting conventions.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word (advanced formatting, templates, tables, styles) and PowerPoint (design, layout, animation).

·       Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

·       Ability to follow strict formatting guidelines and ensure consistency across large documents.

·       Strong time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.

·       Familiarity with academic/technical formatting standards (preferred but not mandatory).
