Assistant Content Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Content Manager in planning and executing the overall content strategy.

• Coordinate with writers, editors, designers, and subject matter experts for content creation and updates.

• Review, proofread, and edit content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and tone consistency.

• Manage the publishing calendar and ensure timely delivery of content projects.

• Conduct keyword research and ensure SEO best practices in digital content.

• Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar.

• Maintain content databases, metadata, and archives for easy retrieval and updates.

• Support in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to content metrics.

• Ensure brand voice, style, and quality standards are maintained across all platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in content writing, editing, or management roles.

• Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and writing style.

• Familiarity with SEO, content management systems (WordPress, CMS tools), and social media platforms.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in educational publishing / edtech / marketing agency (as relevant).

• Knowledge of Canva, Adobe tools, or basic graphic design skills.

• Understanding of analytics tools and data-driven content optimization.
