F&B Controller / Operations Controller

Location: Dadar West, Mumbai Experience: 5–10 years Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month Openings: 1

Job Description

Madwater Brewery is looking for an experienced Controller to oversee operational controls, revenue monitoring, inventory controls and financial discipline across the establishment.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor daily sales and revenue transactions.

· Review POS reports, cashier reports and daily closing reports.

· Monitor food and beverage costs.

· Track inventory consumption and wastage.

· Conduct and monitor stock audits.

· Identify discrepancies between sales, inventory and consumption.

· Monitor purchasing and supplier-related records.

· Coordinate with accounts and operations teams.

· Review discounts, complimentary bills, voids and refunds.

· Prepare MIS and management reports.

· Monitor operational expenses and cost controls.

· Establish and maintain internal control procedures.

· Support monthly closing and financial reconciliation.

· Highlight irregularities and control gaps to management.

· Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.

Requirements

· 5–10 years of experience in F&B finance/control, restaurant accounting, hospitality operations or a similar role.

· Experience in restaurants, breweries, pubs, hotels or hospitality establishments preferred.

· Strong understanding of F&B cost control.

· Knowledge of inventory and stock reconciliation.

· Strong Excel/MIS skills.

· Experience with POS and accounting systems.

· Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

· Ability to work closely with operations, accounts and management teams.
