Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. The Cashier will process payments, assist customers, maintain a clean checkout area, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Scan and process customer purchases accurately.
Accept cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and vouchers as per company policy.
Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and records.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Assist with product information and store promotions.
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked.
Follow company policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
Required Skills
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
