Key Responsibilities:

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately and efficiently.

• Process cash, credit/debit card, digital, and other payment transactions.

• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and vouchers as per company policies.

• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform opening and closing cash reconciliations.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and resolving billing queries.

• Scan products correctly and ensure accurate pricing and discounts.

• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.

• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with required supplies.

• Follow company procedures for cash handling, fraud prevention, and security.

• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth store operations.

• Support inventory checks and promotional activities when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of cashier experience in a retail supermarket or hypermarket.

• Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.

• Good numerical and basic computer skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with international retail chains is an advantage.

• Basic English communication skills.
