Roles & Responsibilities
Generate accurate bills for customer purchases using the billing software.
Handle cash, UPI, debit/credit card, and other payment transactions.
Maintain accurate records of daily sales, collections, and refunds.
Verify cash balances and reconcile daily collections with billing records.
Handle customer queries related to billing and payments professionally.
Coordinate with showroom sales staff and the accounts team regarding billing discrepancies.
Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of cash and billing documents.
Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the reporting manager.
Follow company policies regarding discounts, returns, exchanges, and payment approvals.
Perform other duties assigned by the management based on business requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum qualification: Graduate.
Previous cashier or retail billing experience preferred.
Knowledge of billing software and basic computer operations.
Basic knowledge of cash handling, calculations, and payment reconciliation.
Good communication skills, accuracy, honesty, and attention to detail.
Experience in saree retail or showroom billing will be an added advantage.
