Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and creative Hair Stylist who can provide professional hair services to clients while maintaining high standards of service, hygiene, grooming, and customer satisfaction. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of hair cutting, styling, coloring, treatments, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hair requirements, preferences, and expectations.

• Perform professional haircuts, trims, blow-dry, styling, and finishing services.

• Perform hair coloring, global color, highlights, balayage, root touch-ups, and other color services as per client requirements.

• Provide hair treatments such as smoothening, keratin, repair, spa, and other applicable treatments.

• Recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, and products based on the client's hair type and condition.

• Maintain excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workstations.

• Maintain knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, products, and industry standards.

• Recommend and promote suitable salon products and services to clients.

• Achieve individual service and revenue targets as assigned by the management.

• Maintain proper client records and service history where required.

• Coordinate with the salon team to ensure smooth outlet operations.

• Attend product training, technical training, and skill-development sessions.

• Handle client feedback professionally and escalate concerns to the Outlet Manager when required.

• Follow all company policies, SOPs, grooming standards, and service protocols.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of professional hair cutting and styling techniques.

• Good understanding of hair coloring and chemical services.

• Knowledge of different hair types, textures, and suitable treatments.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong customer-service orientation.

• Ability to understand client requirements and provide suitable recommendations.

• Good product knowledge.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Professional appearance and grooming.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: Certification/Diploma in Hairdressing or relevant salon training preferred.

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant salon experience preferred; experience requirements may vary based on stylist level.

• Candidates with strong technical skills and a good client base will be preferred.
