Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily store and inventory operations.

• Receive, inspect, and issue materials as per requirements.

• Maintain accurate stock records in Tally.

• Prepare GRN, stock receipts, material issue notes, and transfer entries.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate for timely replenishment.

• Perform physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

• Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward materials.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Production, and other departments.

• Generate and maintain inventory reports using Tally.

• Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials.

• Support stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy.

Mandatory Tally Skills

• Tally Prime – mandatory

• Inventory / Stock Management in Tally

• Stock Groups, Stock Categories & Stock Items

• Godowns / Locations

• Purchase and Sales entries

• Receipt, Payment, Contra & Journal entries

• Purchase Returns and Sales Returns

• GRN / Receipt Note and Delivery/Issue documentation

• Stock Transfer / Godown Transfer

• Physical Stock Entry and reconciliation

• Inventory reports and stock valuation

• Basic knowledge of GST in Tally

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• MS Excel for stock reports and reconciliation

Tally Prime + Inventory Management + Stock Reconciliation + MS Excel + Basic Accounting + Documentation
