JD OF STOREKEEPER:
Qualification : Graduate/ DIPLOMA
· Shift time -10hrs.26 days
· Location: Ranjangaon MIDC.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all stock, including raw plastic materials (pellets, pigments, and catalysts), molds, spare parts for the machines, and finished products.
· Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming materials, unload them, and verify their quantity and quality against purchase orders and specifications. Any discrepancies or damaged goods must be reported to the accounting or purchasing department.
· Storage and Organization: Store materials in appropriate locations using proper methods of care and preservation to prevent damage or loss. This includes organizing the storeroom or warehouse for easy access and identification.
· Issuing Materials: Issue materials, tools, and equipment to the production department and machine operators as per the approved requisitions (indents).
· Documentation and Record Keeping: Manage all documentation related to stock movement, including receipts, withdrawals, and stock levels, often using a computer database or inventory management software.
· Stock Verification: Conduct periodical and surprise physical verification of stock to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
· Requisition Initiation: Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock items when they reach minimum levels to prevent shortages in the production process.
· Waste and Scrap Management: Coordinate the disposal of surpluses and manage scrap materials by ensuring they are stored correctly, sometimes in a grinder for recycling, and recorded appropriately.
· Safety and Maintenance Support: Ensure proper safety measures are taken within the store. While machine operation is not their primary role, they may collaborate with maintenance teams by ensuring necessary spare parts for machine upkeep are in stock.
