We are looking for a skilled Stenographer to assist our legal team with documentation, transcription, and office coordination. The ideal candidate will have excellent shorthand, typing, and communication skills, along with the ability to handle legal documents with accuracy and confidentiality.
Graduate in any stream from a recognized university
Diploma or crash course in Shorthand and Typing
Proficiency in Hindi and English (both spoken and written)
Good command over Shorthand in both languages
Typing Speed: Minimum 30–40 WPM
MS Word & Excel – formatting, tables, legal formatting, etc.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using Chat GPT and other AI tools
Familiarity with Google Translate and document translation workflows
Document Scanning & Digital Filing Skills
Basic understanding of legal terminology and court procedures (preferred)
Transcribe legal dictations from senior advocates
Draft and format legal documents, petitions, affidavits, etc.
Maintain case records, organize files digitally and physically
Assist in daily office documentation and correspondence
Use tools like MS Word, Excel, Chat GPT, and Google Translator as required
Perform scanning, photocopying, and maintaining digital archives
Coordinate with court clerks and junior associates for filings and updates
Maintain confidentiality of all case files and sensitive information
