We are looking for a Purchase Manager to join our team at K.R Mangalam World School. The role involves managing and updating information accurately and efficiently, supporting key data management processes, and performing various administrative tasks. The position offers ₹20,000 - ₹28,000 and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handle complete procurement for academic, admin, IT, transport, housekeeping & facility items.
2. Evaluate PRs, prepare POs, and ensure timely deliveries.
3. Identify, onboard & manage vendors; negotiate best pricing and contracts.
4. Maintain procurement documentation, compliance, and vendor performance reports.
5. Coordinate with School Principals, HODs, Finance, IT, Transport & Maintenance teams.
6. Monitor stock levels, reduce costs, and ensure uniform quality across all campuses.
7. Lead day-to-day purchasing operations efficiently and effectively.
Skills & Requirements
1. Strong negotiation, vendor management & documentation
2. Good knowledge of school/university procurement
3. Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 6+ years of experience. The role requires excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates must be open to a 6 days working.
