About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Manager to manage purchasing operations for our printing business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor management, and procurement of printing-related materials while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for printing materials such as paper, inks, plates, packaging materials, and consumables.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and timely supply.
Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative vendors.
Manage purchase orders, approvals, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Collaborate with production, design, and finance teams to forecast material requirements.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost and availability.
Conduct vendor performance reviews and ensure compliance with quality and ethical standards.
Track and report procurement KPIs including cost savings and supplier performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in procurement within the printing or packaging industry.
Strong understanding of printing raw materials, consumables, and production processes.
Proven negotiation, cost management, and vendor coordination skills.
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
