Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive –located in Bengaluru.

The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase orders, purchase requisitions, purchase management, and communicating effectively within the procurement process. Should have knowledge of procurement of FMCG manufacturing, packaging, packaging layouts, labels, boxes, cartons, sleeves, etc The role involves vendor coordination, price negotiation, purchase planning, order follow-up, cost control, and coordination with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted production and timely delivery of quality packaging materials.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.

• Ensure timely procurement of packaging materials, and other requirements.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

• Timely availability of packaging materials for production.

• Reduction in packaging procurement costs.

• Number of alternate vendors developed.

• Vendor delivery performance and adherence to committed timelines.

• Reduction in material shortages and emergency purchases.

• Percentage of Purchase Orders processed within the required timeline.

• Packaging material rejection and replacement turnaround time.

• Accuracy of purchase documentation and MIS reports.

• Reduction in excess and slow-moving packaging inventory.

• Successful completion of new packaging development projects within agreed timelines.
