Roles & Responsibilities – Executive Purchase

• Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, spare parts, and general items required for plant operations.

• Source and develop reliable vendors for paperboard, kraft paper, duplex board, printing inks, adhesives, chemicals, and other materials.

• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

• Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved requirements and company policies.

• Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Accounts departments for material requirements and timely procurement.

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, material quality, and adherence to agreed terms.

• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and avoid production delays or material shortages.

• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, purchase orders, and related documentation.

• Coordinate with the Quality Department for material specifications, quality issues, and supplier complaints.

• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documents in coordination with Stores and Accounts.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative suppliers, and improvements in the procurement process.

• Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and maintain proper documentation for audits.
