We are looking for a Purchase Assistant to join our team and support the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other requirements The role involves coordinating with suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchase records.
Job Requirements
• experience in pharmaceutical purchasing/procurement is preferred.
• Candidates with experience purchasing APIs, excipients, chemicals, packaging materials, or pharmaceutical raw materials will be given preference.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office is required.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow up on pending orders.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials, and basic purchase documentation will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should be organized, responsible, and capable of handling multiple purchase requirements simultaneously.
