Purchase Executive

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities related to industrial automation components and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project and production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Source and procure electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation components such as PLCs, sensors, drives, control panels, etc.

·         Obtain quotations, analyze prices, and prepare comparative statements.

·         Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on price, delivery terms, and quality standards.

·         Raise purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery.

·         Coordinate with stores, engineering, and production teams for material requirements.

·         Maintain and update purchase records, supplier databases, and inventory levels.

·         Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

·         Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for reliable supply.

·         Track and manage import documentation if sourcing internationally.

·         Assist in cost-saving initiatives through supplier development and strategic sourcing.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

·         4–10 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the automation or engineering industry.

·         Good knowledge of automation components, industrial electricals, and vendor landscape.

·         Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle).

·         Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

·         Ability to handle multiple procurement assignments simultaneously.
